He mentioned it to work friend and now he wants to go. We might go this Saturday.
Joanna now knows her name in sign language. She picked it up quick! I found a beginners book at a garage sale. I already knew the alphabet so, I showed her how to sign her name. She showed everyone...they were most impressed. :) I've always been fascinated with sign language and now it will be more fun to learn with my baby.

The the left of the pic in the wheelchair, yes. We were all telling hubby to get off the lane! LOL
I was kind of wondering how you got away with standing there to take the picture but it sure is nice :)

Thanks for entering! Joanna is so cute! My 6 year old really wants to learn sign language. I homeschool him so that will probably be something we learn this next school year. I know the alphabet as well but I would really like to learn it in full.Come back and visit soon! Sherri
I have a few friends who've taught their little ones basic sign language, and they swear it does wonders for the child's development and communication.
I love the Grease 2 reference, by the way :)
Both my daughters learned the sign alphabet and a bit of words. They used it to talk to each other and their secrets in front of me because I didn't understand it. lol
I should have learned it. :)
