I tried to explain to Joanna about adoption to see how much she understood. All she knows is that she has two mothers. I was too choked up to go further. Slowly but surely. Step by step. My heart breaks.
If it were up to me, she'd never know. I want to be the only one. Selfish? Normal? Who the heck knows?
My in-laws are ugh. I have to beat them to it. And I'm angry about that.

Your OK Daniela its only natural for a Mom to not want to share her child with another woman. But I think you have taken a very important step, sooner or later she will find out. You can tell her you chose her because she is so special or something like that.
